Advisory Board
Complementing the Board Practice is the Advisory Board Practice. Unlike the Board who have strong fiduciary and statutory responsibilities, the advisory board can add value without being overwhelmed with the same. The advisory board complements the Board and not duplicates its effort. It adds value in terms of:
- Specific subject matter and domain expertise
- Lobbying , advocacy and policy support
- Business Development support
- Enhancing brand image.
- Providing specific market insights for Indian Companies moving international or other geographical locations or MNC’s trying expand into India.
- Complementing a short term committee set up or initiatives to go into specific areas as mandated by the CEO/Board.
- As a mentor, sounding board or an independent validation of a decision by the CEO/ Board.
Cornerstone Advisory Practice works with the CEO and the Board to define the specific objectives of the advisory board, how they would define their success and the critical skills required. It helps in the search and sourcing of the advisors with the required critical skills, the rules of engagement, integration and Onboarding, setting the operating rhythm and governance mechanism to ensure an effective and impactful advisory board.
