The executive search professionals of Cornerstone are dedicated to provide service beyond the traditional search and evaluation processes. Since the best executives are often not looking externally for opportunities, we adopt a sensitive but disciplined and systematic research procedure to identify these hard-to-find and hard-to-reach star candidates. Inspired to provide our clients with superior "value added" results, we have established a "real-time weekly feedback" system for continuous improvement in the quality and user-friendliness of our services.
We embark upon a search campaign to identify and approach potential candidates who match the predetermined specifications. This would proceed with interviews and short listing followed by comprehensive candidate reports of the short list which will be submitted for your perusal.
We follow a very comprehensive search process which can be covered as under:
Initial Consultation:
Before undertaking a search assignment, we meet in person with our client’s management to conduct an extensive and thorough consultation. This enables us to determine our client’s requirements and specifications, as well as achieve an in-depth understanding of organizational relationships and culture. We strongly believe that understanding all parameters of organizational dynamics in its myriad manifestations is critical to finding the right talent and to its success in a new environment.
Position Description:
After our meeting we will prepare a comprehensive information pack that features company background, responsibilities of the position, qualifications and background required of the candidate, criteria for success, and individual growth potential.
Research/Candidate Targeting:
We apply both in-box and out-box thinking to create original, customized research, identifying sources for which we develop a target list of organizations where qualified candidates are likely to be found. An extensive target list of potential candidates is collected through our personal networks, databases of individuals, organizations and other trusted sources.
Candidate Identification, Evaluation and Interview:
At this phase, we start calling our sources and prospects before sending potential candidates the information pack. Our senior researchers start work through telephonic interviews to screencandidates. First of all theycreate a map of existing talent pool followed by a face-to-face meeting to further assess suitability.
Presentation of Candidates:
Generally we present a shortlist of three to five candidates, sometimes even lesser, with personal profile on each candidate covering their educational &professional qualifications, experience and critical relevant achievements to arrive at our recommendations in respect of each candidate, including our assessment of how they meet the requirements of the position, and any potential downside that we may notice or perceive.
Candidate & Client Interviews:
We arrange meetings between the client and the candidate and coordinate at every step to facilitate the interaction. We maintain regular interaction with both parties after the interview for feedback.
Reference Checking & Psychometric Testing:
Once the final candidate is selected and with the candidate's permission, we conduct reference checks. We also have in-house expertise in the use of psychometric tools that further helps in the selection, assessment and development programs.
Preferred Candidate:
Once the client has decided that an offer should be made to the professional of their choice, we can play an important role by bringing the two parties together. Our expertise includes assisting both you and the candidate and providing advice and mediation in order to enhance the effectiveness of your offer.
Ensure Smooth Transition:
With the successful candidate in place, we will stay in touch with both parties to maintain a smooth transition. We support the new executive over first 100 days using structured Onboarding process and instruments.
